Rackmount Server
     The CompTIA Server+ certification is aimed at mid and upper level technicians who are responsible for computer hardware on a more sophisticated level than that of an A+ certified technician.

     This class is designed to teach students how to solve complex problems to ensure that servers are functional and applications are available. Server+ students will gain in-depth knowledge of planning, installing, configuring and maintaining servers, including knowledge of implementing server-level hardware such as RAIDs, Fibre Channel SANs, UPSs, and server room monitoring tools. Students will also learn about high availablity, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.

     This class will help prepare students for employment as Server Hardware Specialists. Also Server+ when combined with A+ is being accepted by Microsoft as an elective for their MCSA track.

Prerequisite: It is recommended that Server+ students should complete the A+ certification process or possess equivalent knowledge prior to taking Server+
